Chibok abduction: PDP President denounces State Government approach

The National President of the PDP, Adamu Sailesh, believes that the Borno State Governor as the Chief Security Officer of his State needs to do more in the search for the more than 200 Chibok college girls.
In an exclusive interview with channels television and his first major interview since becoming the President of the PDP, feels Mr Sailesh Chibok situation that has been used as a political instrument.
The PDP Chairman talked to our correspondent, Betty Dibia in South Africa.
He has mentioned the warnings preceding the incident that should have prevented Chibok-the State Governor of the opening the school to host exams, but that he refused.
Sailesh cited warnings by the Ministry of education and the West African examination Council, WAEC, expressing their fear and the view that the school was not fit, but that the State Government met with guarantees of sufficient certainty, only for the attack can be successfully carried out by the insurgents.
He, therefore, condemned the idea of the Governor traveling abroad and foreign media organizations to speak and reveal what he saw as issues of Nigeria's governance.
